Our ears help us both hear and balance, so when they’re not working properly it can have a big impact on our lives.

Excess ear wax build-up can be caused by hairy or narrow ear canals, old age or hearing aids and earplugs to name but a few, and can result in earache, difficulty hearing, or itchiness. Ear infections are common in children but also occur in adults, originating from having a cold or respiratory problems (middle ear infection), or as a result of water remaining in the ear and causing a bacterial infection (outer ear infection).
