PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Stamlo-T Tablet contains two medicines, both of which help to control high blood pressure. It lowers the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. This will reduce your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke.
Stamlo-T Tablet may be taken on an empty stomach or along with food. However, it is better to take it regularly at a fixed time each day, as prescribed by your doctor. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. It’s important to keep taking this medicine even if you feel well. By lowering your blood pressure, it is reducing your risk of heart attack or stroke so do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to. HOW STAMLO-T TABLET WORKS
Stamlo-T Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Amlodipine. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE STAMLO-T TABLET?
If you miss a dose of Stamlo-T Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Q. What should I avoid while taking Stamlo-T Tablet?
You should avoid potassium supplements or salt substitutes, unless advised by your doctor. Also, avoid alcohol consumption as doing so can further lower your blood pressure and may cause some side effects. In addition to that, avoid getting dehydrated, drink enough fluids during exercise and in hot weather. The medicine may make you dizzy so avoid driving, using machinery or doing anything that needs concentration unless you know how this medicine affects you. If you feel dizzy, lie down so you do not faint. Then sit for a few moments before standing to prevent feeling dizzy again.
Q. What happens if I take too much of Stamlo-T Tablet?
If you accidentally take too much of Stamlo-T Tablet, you may experience symptoms such as low blood pressure, dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, vomiting and rapid heartbeat. However, in some cases slow heartbeat, reduced kidney function including kidney failure (e.g., reduced urine output) have also been reported. If you experience any of such symptoms contact your doctor immediately and seek medical help.
Q. Can I come off Stamlo-T Tablet when my blood pressure is under control or normal?
Even if your blood pressure is successfully lowered by this medicine, it is advised to continue your medication. If you stop taking Stamlo-T Tablet, your blood pressure could rise back up again. Blood pressure lowering medicines only help to control your condition but do not cure it. You will probably need to take them for the rest of your life. Remember, by keeping your blood pressure controlled you are reducing your risk of having a heart attack or stroke.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed one and take the next scheduled dose.
