PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Lanoxin Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of heart failure in combination with other medicines. It helps to provide symptomatic relief by making the heart pump blood more efficiently. This medicine is also used to treat abnormal heart rhythm (arrhythmia).

Lanoxin Tablet restores and maintains a normal and steady heartbeat. It should be taken regularly as advised by the doctor. You may take it with or without food but it is better to take this medicine at a fixed time. This medicine should not be stopped abruptly without consulting the doctor as this can worsen your condition. Regular follow-up with your doctor is advised while using this medicine.

BENEFITS OF LANOXIN TABLET

In Heart failure

Heart failure means your heart is weak and cannot pump enough blood to your lungs and the rest of your body. The most common symptoms are breathlessness, tiredness, and swelling in your legs, ankles, abdomen and other parts of your body. Lanoxin Tablet makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body and is therefore an effective treatment for heart failure.
This medicine will help relieve your symptoms, making you feel better and more energetic. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthily and keeping active) to help this medicine be effective. Take it regularly and keep taking it even if you feel better.

In Arrhythmia

Lanoxin Tablet is used to stabilize heart rhythms (particularly atrial fibrillation). It helps in normalizing an abnormal heart rhythm, preventing it from occurring in the first place, or slowing down the heart rate during an episode.

HOW TO USE LANOXIN TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lanoxin Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

HOW LANOXIN TABLET WORKS

Lanoxin Tablet is a cardiac glycoside. It works by correcting irregular heartbeat to a normal rhythm and increases the force with which the heart muscle contracts with every heartbeat. This makes the heart pump more efficiently and increases blood circulation throughout the body.
