Jardiance Met 12.5mg/1000mg Tablet is a combination medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. This medicine is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in proper utilisation of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar level.

Jardiance Met 12.5mg/1000mg Tablet should be taken with food at any time of day but you should try to take it at the same time every day. The dose will be decided by your doctor. Don’t stop taking it without asking your doctor. If you do, your blood sugar levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness. This medicine is only part of a treatment program that should include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by your doctor.

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems or a urinary tract infection or if you are on water pills (diuretics). WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE JARDIANCE MET TABLET?

If you miss a dose of Jardiance Met 12.5mg/1000mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
