PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Pruside 50mg Injection is a medicine used in the immediate treatment of hypertensive emergency (severely increased blood pressure) and acute heart failure. It brings about an immediate reduction in blood pressure and the workload of the heart.

Pruside 50mg Injection is given as a drip into the vein under the supervision of a doctor. Your doctor is the right person to decide the dose and duration, hence do not try to self-administered the injection at home. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is required while on treatment.

BENEFITS OF PRUSIDE INJECTION

In Hypertensive emergency

Pruside 50mg Injection reduces stress on the heart by relaxing and widening the blood vessels. This makes it easier for the heart to pump blood around your body, thereby lowering your blood pressure. This medicine is injected into a vein under the supervision of a doctor. It is used for immediate reduction of very high blood pressure (hypertensive emergency). Controlled blood pressure reduces the risk of having a heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems.

In Acute Heart failure

Heart failure means your heart is weak and cannot pump enough blood to your lungs and the rest of your body. The most common symptoms are breathlessness, tiredness, and swelling in your legs, ankles, abdomen, and other parts of your body. Pruside 50mg Injection makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body and is, therefore, an effective treatment for heart failure.

This medicine will help relieve your symptoms, making you feel better and more energetic. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthily and keeping active) to help this medicine be effective.
